Activated CarbonActivated carbon has long been used for filtration media when super clean water is desired. Carbon has the natural ability to absorb high amounts of organic solids as chemicals or pesticides that may go into pond water. Carbon will also absorb medications used on fish. After treatment is complete, add carbon to tank or mediations. Activated carbon has also been shown to have the ability to remove tannins that cause "tea-colored" water. Barley straw is another product that can discolor water. Carbon will also remove this color. Use approximately 1-1/2 cupfuls for every 100 gallons of pond water. Place in mesh bag and set in moving water. In a pond, skimmer or qualifies is a good location. Replace carbon every four to five weeks as needed.

EasyPro Zeolite
Use Zeolite to remove harmful ammonia from water gardens, fish tanks, fish hauling trucks, etc. Ammonia is the by-product of fish waste, and at high levels is toxic to fish. Pond water should be checked for ammonia on a regular basis . A health biofilter will typically remove the ammonia from the water but in a new pond where the filter has not colonized or if too many fish are added at one time, an ammonia spike may happen. Zeolite is like a sponge, absorbing harmful ammonia before it can cause fish loss. Zeolite can be cleaned by dipping in salt water and re-used again. One pound of Zeolite will remove approximately three ppm ammonia from 100 gallons of water.

The Solution
Aqua-One pond water clarifier treats the cause of the problem, not the symptom, by ridding the water of excessive nutrients. Turbidity (suspended matter) problems in living aquatic ecosystems mainly result from algae blooms and other multicellular planktonics. Algae, while always present in healthy aquatic ecosystems, blooms (rapid reproduction) when nutrient levels increase at rates greater than can be metabolized by background bacteria. Decaying organic material and aquatic waste can also cause turbidity.
When added to out-of-balance ponds, the microbes (bactyeria) in Aqua-One consume the nutrients in the water. Aqua-One also accelerates the digestion of decaying organic and in organic material.

Sludge Remover Bacteria
EasyPro pond bacteria is designed specifically to remove organic sludge from water gardens. Sludge is the result of fish waste, dead algae/plant material, uneaten fish food, leaves and other debris. Left in the pond, sludge acts as a stimulant for algae, green water and other water quality problems. EasyPro bacteria is a dry powder that, when introduced to the water, starts to breakdown and liquefy organic sludge. The result is cleaner pond, less green water problems, higher oxygen content and improved water clarity.
Sludge remover bacteria can be used at higher doses (for faster results) without harm to fish or plants.
